Vinted Members Express Frustration Over Size Modifications
Vinted users have been reacting angrily due to a modification that led to products showing incorrect sizing.
The popular resale platform has revised its sizing categories for women's and children's clothes without notifying all shoppers about the modification.
Digital Channels Backlash
Numerous buyers and vendors are posting online stating that platform listings now display a different size category versus the original listing because of the remapping.
The platform stated the updated approach better aligns with comparable marketplaces.
They have suggested members to review their products and update the measurements by hand where appropriate, which has left users frustrated.
Sizing System Modifications
Before the change, the measurements included numerical and alphabetical indicators, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features a letter and a range for example S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the measurements have been reclassified - like an L measurement was formerly size 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.

Frankie Bridger, who creates plus-size fashion videos, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
A different member, from Glasgow, said garments she listed featuring size 14 markings were showing in the marketplace as measurements 20-22.
"If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they will likely be quite upset," she stated.
Manual Updates
A different user, based in Derby, stated she felt frustrated by the change as she had to manually change the sizes on "every single listing".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, because of my ongoing medical condition and platform income has been essential after experiencing income reduction," she said.
